BEIT CHABAD KITCHEN

Sealed from kitchen to table

The certificate describes meals hermetically sealed with a tight lid and label, then placed inside a closed, sealed bag.

Reheating in a non-kosher environment

The Hebrew page distinguishes the following methods:

  1. Keep the meal sealed in its original packaging and do not open it until serving.
  2. Microwave: the sealed meal is additionally wrapped in plastic wrap.
  3. Oven: the sealed meal is wrapped twice in aluminium foil.
  4. Do not use the location’s kitchen utensils. Serve in the original packaging with disposable cutlery and servingware.

Ask the team for instructions for the packaging supplied before heating. Do not put aluminium foil in a microwave.
